Day 1: Cochin
On arrival, our representative in Cochin will receive you and transport you to a hotel.
 
Spend the afternoon visiting the places of attractions in Cochin which include Mattanchery Palace, St. Francis Church, Wellington Island, Bolghatty Island, and Jewish Synagogue.  Main attraction of Cochin (Kochi) is its fine natural harbour. Cruise through the back-waters. This will facilitate you to have a panoramic view of the rural life, the harbour and three islands.

Relax in the afternoon after lunch. Spend the evening enjoying the Kathakali Dance Show in an auditorium before you are back to your hotel.

Day 2: To Periyar from Cochin
After a morning drive through the scenic beauty to Periyar, check in at the hotel there and roam freely in Periyar, a wildlife sanctuary covering around an area of 777 sq km.

In Periyar, there is a 26 sq km artificial lake. It serves as natural habitat for sambars, wild boars, elephants and antelopes.  Watch them on the banks of the river during a boat cruise.

Day 3: From Periyar  to Munnar
An early morning boat journey on the Periyar Lake through the South Backwaters is exciting with a view the wild elephants during this boat ride.

In the afternoon, get set for a drive to Munnar, a well-known hill station of Kerala.

Check in at the hotel in Munnar upon arrival.

Day 4: Munnar
Take rest for a day and roam freely around and relax in the fine weather in Munnar, a famous South Indian hill station.  The highest peak in the Western Ghats, called the Anaimudi Peak, lies near the city.

Day 5: From Munnar to Kumarakom- Kumarakoram
During the long Kumarakom- Kumarakoram drive from Munnar in the morning, a stay at one of the South India backwater resorts will prove refreshing with the panoramic vision of the backwater and boating therein.

Day 6 : Kumarakom - Alleppey
After a short drive in the morning, we switch over to a boat- ride through canals and waterways in Alleppey. A ride on a country boat is the best way to explore the country life in rural Alleppey.

Day 7: Alleppey - Trivandrum
After a drive through the surrounding with nature at its best, Trivandrum is reached.  Spend your afternoon walking around in the city before you stay overnight at a Hotel in Trivandrum.

Day 8: Trivandrum - Excursion
Enjoy a full day return excursion to the most southern part in Indian mainland - the Cape Camorin. Travel to Vivekananda Memorial built about 400 metres offshore.

Day 9: Trivandrum
After a romantic South India Backwaters Tour, get transported to airport for your return flight.
